Last weekend the sun was pretty warm against the east facing terrace so I placed the guinea pigs outside against the heated wall for an hour, to give them a break from their cage.

Finally… (warning: rant ahead)

My dog walking is back. Seems the city is learning how to deal with winter and schools are open and everyone is expected to go to work or do grocery shopping or whatever it is that people do with their day so I got called back to my duties as dog walker extraordinaire. Because the dogs’ humans are back at work.

Lingering effects of endless distractions

The Weather Network on TV is having so! much! fun! with all of our weather woes here in North America at the moment. It’s quite amusing to sit on my couch with my coffee and watch them explain, over and over again, what to do and not to do because of the dangerous wind chills, and the snow, and the ice, and all the rest of it.
