Supply run adventure

Yesterday reminded me mildly of what a standard, routine day used to be like.

I was busy. All day long.

Reason being, I went on a supply run.

Supply run fashion statement.

The Monkey Bread saga – part 2

The continuation of the Monkey Bread saga continues…click here for part 1 from yesterday.

* * *

My tween girl and I were baking bread (me) and Monkey Bread (her).  While the doughs were rising, and the dishes piling up, and I had my back turned for a moment, she disappeared.

Because, kids. 🙃

“Let’s make Monkey Bread,” she said.

“I wanna bake,” she said.

A little incoherence, and a short update

This morning, I slept till 8 am.

Actually I woke several times since about 3 am. I had all sorts of jumbled thoughts about wicked, strange dreams I longed to get back to so I just rolled over and stayed in bed until 8. Sort of fell asleep again into a semi-dozed state.

Only reason I’m up is because I had to pee and craved coffee. 😛☕

I never do this. I’m not a sleeper-in person. But then, I did imbibe a little last night… 👀

Who’s monitoring screen-time now?

I’m probably going to delete this later.

The chips are gone. All of them. 😶

I find myself facing a dilemma. It appears I no longer have a choice here.

I’m going to lock my teenager in the shed. 😛

Beckoning sunshine during lock-down

*Not everyone has a garden, and this post is not meant to make you feel bad if you don’t. If you still can, go outside and walk around a little, especially if you’re in the northern Hemisphere and have been waiting a long time for spring to arrive. Please obey the physical and social distancing rules and be safe.

For the most part, we were doing fine with this endless staying home and indoors.

Taking the next step (or the first one)

About my sorry-not-sorry comments lately

I’ve been saying that a lot lately, haven’t I. Like my earlier post from a few hours ago which was all ranty and full of expletives.

Sorry. (Not really.) 😐

Apologizing is a very Canadian 🇨🇦 activity so sorry for saying sorry when I’m not really sorry. 😄
